Watching a skilled artist at work is always an entertaining crowd pleaser, and I love sharing the wonder of creating an object of beauty with an audience. I bring the unique hybrid experience of the sure-handed creator, an attention-holding storyteller and a unique ability to form large scale works of art in a single sitting. The sculpture’s media, subject and theme is dreamed up in collaboration with your venue’s event, and then your guests enjoy watching a sculpture emerge from nothing in front of their very eyes.
I have also involved the audience in the creation of the sculptures. Sometimes incorporating story elements, or colorful embodiments of blessings and hopes. If the community is eager to get a little bit muddy with me they can aid in the actual construction of the sculpture. Each member adding their own creative gift to the final piece. I also weave storytelling into the act of creation, or work in tandem with performers and musicians.

Live-Sculptures are ephemeral by design. They exist for the duration of the performance, but cannot survive pastz 24 hours.
10”-12” archival fired terracotta versions of the sculpture can be ordered separately as a remembrance of your event.
